State law requires children to be immunized against certain vaccine-preventable diseases to attend school in Texas. Getting your child vaccinated protects your child's health and that of the community. 

学生 cannot go to school without the appropriate documentation for the required vaccines or a valid medical or conscientious exemption. This is required in order to find out a student’s teacher at Elementary Meet the Teacher Night or to pick up his or her class schedule at secondary schools.

State law describes the conditions under which individuals can seek exemptions from Texas immunization requirements. Exclusions from compliance are allowable on an individual basis for medical contraindications, active duty with the armed forces of the United States, 以及良心的原因, 包括宗教信仰.

谢尔曼ISD 返校 Vaccination Clinics

谢尔曼ISD will host back-to-school vaccination clinics in conjunction with Passport Health/Staying Healthy Medical Services. These clinics are being offered as a community service and should not replace a visit to your pediatrician. 工作人员 and supplies are limited so the clinics may be discontinued if supplies or time runs out. We cannot guarantee that everyone will be seen.  

人: Only 谢尔曼ISD students, age 3-18, may be vaccinated at the clinics. Older children who resist shots and children with special needs cannot be seen given the nature of these clinics. A parent or guardian must be present. Please bring a printed immunization record.

Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana & United Health Care PPO plans will be accepted. *我们不能接受Aetna & Blue Cross Gold, Silver, or Bronze plans or HMO plans with any insurance company. A paper photo copy of the insurance card and driver's license MUST be provided to receive vaccinations at no charge. Electronic copies cannot be accepted.

Uninsured: $10 per vaccine ($40 maximum per child).
